PART 1
The main purpose of this module is to learn on how to draw technical drawings, enhance our observational skills & creative responses.
There are several module objectives which are to develop the basic understanding of various drawings & its importance in the construction industry since most of us will be pursuing our career as architects.
Same goes to ITD, there are some expected learning outcomes which are, learnt the basic types of drawings which will be needed in the construction industry, the basic principles, conventions & various techniques in drawing, & utilising the 2-D orthographic drawings as a means of communication in expressing 3d space objects.
PART 3
Before learning this module, drawing is definitely not my thing, especially drawing organic items, so I was lacking confidence in attempting to draw well and achieve flying colours since most of my friends are excellent in drawing. But after learning properly on how to draw, I felt that drawing is not that difficult after all, at least to what I have been assigned to draw. I really love to draw technical drawings for I love to imagine the spaces built up as if they are in 3-D shaped. I don't think I have faced any difficulties throughout this module since I really enjoyed learning on how to draw though quite several of my peers have mentioned that they felt stressed out when doing the assignment. Although till the end of the semester I am not the best, I have definitely improved much more compared to before, & I will keep on improving myself all the time. Thanks to my lecturer-tutor, Mr Akmal for guiding me throughout the 3 assignments.
