Reflections & Perspectives

Upon completing the 14-week Computer Applications (CA) course, I am immensely grateful for gaining a foundational understanding of architectural software tools, namely Revit and 3DS Max. Revit served as a digital drawing platform, while 3DS Max specialized in rendering the orthographic drawings produced in Revit.

Throughout this course, I've achieved proficiency in creating floor plans, manipulating materials, and crafting sectional views within the Revit environment. Additionally, in 3DS Max, I've delved into the intricacies of rendering lifelike images, incorporating elements such as landscapes and furniture to enhance visual realism.

I owe a debt of gratitude to my tutor, whose guidance was instrumental in our successful completion of this assignment. Furthermore, I extend my thanks to my lecturer, Mr. Koh Jing Hao, whose provision of comprehensive PDFs and instructional videos facilitated a step-by-step learning process for us all.
